This intensive two-day GCSE Maths crash course, taking place on the 17th and 18th of April, is designed to give students a focused and comprehensive boost across key exam topics. Whether you’re aiming for a solid pass or pushing for a top grade, this course will sharpen your skills, boost confidence, and prepare you for success for your GCSEs.
📖 Day 1: We’ll tackle two of the most essential and commonly tested areas in GCSE maths. Students will work through a series of structured problems, with step by step walkthrough and time saving strategies. You’ll leave Day 1 with a solid grasp of key techniques, exam tips and a big confidence boost.
✍ Day 2: Focuses on the high-yield areas of Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Vectors — the topics where students often lose the most marks, but also where they can gain the most with the right support.
Through guided problem-solving, visual explanations, and exam-style practice, students will learn how to break down complex multi-step problems and approach unfamiliar questions with confidence.
With years of experience supporting GCSE students across all ability levels, Hannah Bercasio brings clarity, structure, and energy to every session. As the founder of Next Gen Tutors, she’s passionate about making maths accessible, engaging, and empowering — especially during exam season.
Her teaching style breaks down complex concepts into simple, step-by-step methods, helping students not only understand the how but the why behind the maths. Students leave her sessions feeling confident, equipped, and ready to tackle their exams with a strategy in place.
Hi, I’m Hannah Bercasio, and I’ll be leading the Maths side of our upcoming GCSE Crash Course.
I’m currently studying Economics with Data Science at the University of Southampton – a Russell Group university – and in September, I’ll be starting a degree apprenticeship at BDO in Private Client Services (Tax).
I’m also the Founder and Managing Director of Next Gen Tutors, and over the past three years, I’ve had the opportunity to tutor a wide range of students — including at Explore Learning. I’ve always been passionate about helping young people build confidence in Maths.
Numbers have always made sense to me, and tutoring has played a huge role in my own success — especially as someone who’s dyslexic. Learning how to break things down and explain them clearly has not only helped my students thrive, but it’s helped me excel too. It’s shown me just how powerful understanding over memorisation can be.
To me, Maths is all about understanding, practice, and consistency. In this crash course, I aim to create a space where students feel supported — from building solid foundations to tackling the trickiest exam questions — so they can walk into their GCSEs feeling confident and prepared.
These sessions are designed to boost your confidence, sharpen your exam skills, and make revision actually stick.
